Xiaomi Redmi Pro is the smartphone that makes its way to the smartphone industry rather than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which was first said to be the star of the show today in the launch event of two products from Xiaomi in China. Beside the smartphone made official there is another star of the event which is known as Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air which was also said to be launched in this very event. As per promise company launched two devices in the event one is smartphone and other one is laptop.
Both the devices are having the metal finish and some best specifications in the value for money price range segment. Both of them are in the rumors from quite a long and recently the company’s CEO Lei Jun had posted an image where he hold the laptop and the phone himself. That gave the needed oxygen to the fire of the rumors and the devices got leaked in the images every now and then.
Full Specifications –
The smartphone is having the 5.5 – inch of the Full HD OLED display from AUO with the 441 ppi of the pixels density which provides the 1920 x 1080 pixels of the display resolutions to this new device. While the Mi Notebook Air is having the 12.5 – inch and 13.3 – inch of two different screen size variants that got unveiled in the launch event here in China from the company.
In the memory unit of the smartphone you will see the two different variants, where the first one is having the 3 GB of on – board RAM with the two options of 32 GB and 64 GB of the internal in – built memory and the second is having the 4 GB of RAM on – slot with the 128 GB of the internal storage capacity. Both the variants are having the microSD card slot for the further expansion up to 256 GB.
In the Mi Notebook Air with the 12.3 – inch display, you will find out the Intel HD Graphics 515, Intel Core m3 6Y30 processor, 11.5 hours of battery life, 4GB LPDDR3 1866MHz RAM and 128GB SATA SSD which is priced at $525 i.e Rs. 35,250. While the higher end variant is having the 8GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM, 256GB PCIe × 4 NVMe SSD, dedicated 1GB DDR5 NVIDIA Gefore GT 940MX GPU and Intel Core i5 6200U processor with a price tag of $750 i.e. Rs.50,350 only.
If you are looking for the photography features in this new smartphone then there is embedded the dual 13 MP of rear facing primary camera which is provided by the Sony IMX258 sensor. This camera unit is having the geo – tagging, HD, Panorama, touch – focus, face – detection, PDAF and LED Flash light features. In the front there present a 5 MP of the front facing selfie snapper camera which is having the Samsung sensor.
The smartphone is going to be the 4G LTE network carrier device which is having all the necessary and user loved features in it. It is having the WiFi with Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, Type – C reversible USB connector, Radio and GPS with A – GPS like features available in – built. Also there is presence of the Fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors in this new smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro specifications are driven by the 2.5 GHz Deca – Core Cortex – A72 processor which is powered by the MediaTek Helio X25 SoC and there is the presence of the Mali T880 MP4 for the best graphics quality to this smartphone device. it runs on Android v6.0 – Marshmallow operating system out of the box from the day of its debut in the smartphone industry with the MI v8.0 user interface over the top.
The smartphone is packed with the 4000 mAh (minimum and 4050 mAh (typical) of the battery to keep the device lights on for long enough. Also there is the fast battery charge technology embedded to the device that will charge the device very fast in a few minutes. The smartphone is said to be available in the three different colors; Silver, Gold and Grey. It also having the Fingerprint sensor and the VoLTE over 4G support.
As the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone are just brilliant with the Dual 13 MP of camera and Deca – Core MediaTek Helio X25 SoC processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro price seems to go slightly high and expected to fall between the mid budget and premium mid budget price range segment. There is no news yet when both Xiaomi Redmi Pro and Mi Notebook Air will roll out for the global market outside China.
