Moto Z Play finally goes official after the series of rumors and leaks at IFA event Berlin. The much awaited mid – budget range device from Lenovo Moto was seen many times online and was caught in the import documents in India when it arrived India for the testing. And now the device is seen in the promotional poster in China. The promotional poster was seen outside a Chinese retailer shop.
It is in the rumors from quite a long and now the smartphone is seen in the document when it reached India for the testing process. It was code named as Vertex and is expected to launch in the smartphone market beside the G4 Play in India or anywhere else as the place in not final yet but the launch date is expected to be in the July end or August this year.

This new Z series smartphone is featuring the huge 5.5 – inch of the Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display which is having the 403 ppi of the pixels density that provide the 1920 x 1080 pixels of the HD display resolutions. It is also having the Moto Mod extra features and has the Corning Gorilla Glas 3 protection over the display. Also, there is water repellent technology that keeps the device protected from water in some cases.
When it comes to the memory unit then it is featuring the 3 GB of the on – slot RAM with the presence of two different internal memory variants one is having the 32 GB of the internal in – built memory while the second is having the 64 GB of the internal storage. Also, it is having the microSD card slot to expand the internal memory further ahead up to 256 GB.
The smartphone has the 4G LTE as the top network connectivity carrier and apart from this it is having other major and much – needed connectivity features too. It is featuring WiFi – DualBand – WiFi Direct – Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, Type – C reversible connector USB, NFC , Radio, GPS with A – GPS and GLONASS. Also, the smartphone has the accelerometer, proximity, gyro and compass sensors.
When we talk about the camera unit of this new smartphone then it has the 5 MP of the front faced camera with LED Flashlight and 1080p of HD video recording capability and some beauty enhancing modes. Apart from that, there is a 16 MP of the main camera at the rear panel which is having the PDAF, HDR, Panorama, Geo – Tagging, Touch – Focus and Dual toned dual LED Flashlight features and also capable of the HD video recording.
Moto Z Play specifications are mechanized by the 2.0 GHz Octa – Core Cortex – A53 processor and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. While there is Adreno 510 GPU is there to take care of the graphics quality of this newly launched phone. And the device runs on the Android v6.0.1 – Marshmallow out of the box.
The smartphone is having the dimensions of 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm and it weighs around 165 grams. It is packed with a 3510 mAh of battery with the Turbo Charging features in it. And it brings back the 3.5 mm audio jack to the Z series smartphone which was missing in Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Also, there are front ported loudspeakers in this new smartphone.
